I keep thinking how weird it must be to be on the other side of things. In 2004, I was comforted by the fact that most of the world was in "mourning" with us [progressives]. And now, having the whole world (seemingly) celebrating with us, well, it must suck to be a Republican.
I am so happy for Joe, too. :-) May this be just the start of the amazing changes to happen in his lifetime!

What is particularly amazing to me was how much celebration was held around the world! Glorious!
I'm excited that Joe gets to grow up able to say there was the first biracial President of the United States when he was one years old.
